2020 is going by fast, and October’s National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) is just around the corner. Last year, we held an in-person lunch event with several expert speakers. A lot has changed since then, but Zeta Sky, along with the Fontana Chamber of Commerce, is as determined as ever to make sure businesses and their employees have the latest knowledge to prevent and respond to cybercrimes. Join us again this October for the virtual version: The Inland Empire Cybersecurity Summit 2020 Webinar Series. You will learn the latest trends and ways to protect your business from cyberattacks, and be able to put your questions directly to our panel of guest experts.

Last Year's Event: Inland Empire Cybersecurity Summit 2019

In October 2019, our annual Cybersecurity Summit featured participants from the FBI, Datto, Citrix, and Gallant Risk and Insurance. Checkout the video from last year’s Summit.

Inland Empire Cybersecurity Summit 2020 Webinar Series

Week 1: Cybersecurity and Small Business

Experience is the best teacher. Fortunately, you don’t have to experience a cyberattack to learn how to prevent one. In our first webinar in the series, you will learn from other companies who experienced an attack, what they did right, and ways to avoid their mistakes. Get a chance to win a raffle while learning how companies dealt with and identifying how you can prevent making the same mistakes.

Week 2: Cyber Scams and Threats: Your Chance to Ask the FBI

FBI Special Agent Greg Bishea returns this year to talk about emerging cyber threats to watch out for and how to combat them. There will be an open panel discussion so all your cybersecurity questions can be answered by an expert. Get a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card while your cybersecurity questions are answered in the open panel discussion.

Week 3: Business Continuity Planning in the Wake of Covid

If business leaders have learned anything during the unpredictable year of 2020, it’s that we need to have a well thought out business continuity plan. This webinar features Cybersecurity Adviser Joseph Oregon from Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Datto, a leader in backup and recovery solutions. We’ll explore the best ways to create your own business continuity plan so you are better prepared for events like what we are experiencing from the Coronavirus. Join us for a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card while your cybersecurity questions are answered in the open panel discussion.

Why be involved with NCSAM?

The goal of Cybersecurity Awareness Month is to increase knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and the various strategies we all can use to keep our information protected. This year’s  key message is “If you connect it, protect it” and each week of October is associated with a theme that relates to the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity in one’s home,  workplace, or remotely connected location .

Implement better security practices for your organization and help your employees understand the “why” behind the cybersecurity policies that are there to protect them.
